LOVE. Spice mountain is a fantastic and reasonably priced stall. Love the mushroom pate from the big mushroom place, and the tapenade and pesto from borough olives. :)

Best to arrive before noon and best the wall to wall crowds. Most of the farmers market crowd is on the east side. The prepared lunch vendors are on the west side.

Love this market - bought there some cheeses and dry tomato and were absolutely good! It is a nice place even for a quick lunch or a glass of wine w/a friend.

One of the bests markets on town about food. The different mini-stores insde have a lot of interesting and good products. It's full of tourists but you can find a lot of good stuff in there.

This is a great place to go on an empty stomach! There is an amazing selection of food ranging from delicious sandwiches and cheeses to wine! There are also plenty of samples for you :-)

An explosion of colours, sounds, smells and flavours. You can try and buy this world and and another here. I was lucky enough to work here for a while and it's an experience I'll never forget.

Bought: ginger, chilli, sea salt & caramel fudge; lama, kangaroo, camel&antelope meat burgers, chocolate cheesecake, chocolate cake & brownie, 4 bottles of excellent Italian white vinegar glaze. Nice?

After coming here over 15 years, I recommend the Northfields Salt Beef Mini Magoos granola, Gumi cheeses, the fruit and veg from Teds Vegs and chocolate from Rabot Estate.

There's Brick Lane salted beef here! The stall has two queues (the other being falafel), so make sure you're in the right one!

After few visits, I got my eating itinerary worked out :) raw scallops, clams & oysters, fresh juice, grilled scallops with bacon strips, chorizo sandwich and finished it off with cheese (samples)!

Ein qualitativ hochwertiger Lebensmittelmarkt mit Waren aus aller Welt. Auch sonst eine pulsierende Gegend in der immer was los ist. Mit den vielen Leuten muss man halt klar kommen.

Good things never stay a secret and Borough market just keeps on expanding to fit all the tourists in. Try the prawn pad thai. Walker's Mayfield cheese does not disappoint.

Best food shopping place but food-wise is less than expected. Don't miss going behind the anchor.. a nice spot to rest your feet and view the river.

Not only is this is a market, you also get great food. Get some oysters and a glass of bubbly. Walk around there's fish & chips too. Prepare your stomach!

You MUST visit this place. Go there between 12:00 and 13:30 and have lunch. It's a global local market where you can find any food item from around the world.

The rock oysters that are shucked right in front of you are some of the best I've had straight from the estuary at Essex. So fat, sweet, and sublime. Also ended up picking up some truffle honey.

Outstanding gem of a market. Some stalls only open Thursday to Sunday. Grab fresh bread, artisanal cheeses and pick some cured meats. Sit down.

The most well known, but not sure the best food market. Very crowded and not that many stalls. Has lovely stalls with cheeses and meats to@take home though.

For those that know how to eat good food. If you are coming on a Friday make it around 14:00 you will find the best offers. Try the Bath Cheese company any of their three cheeses.

Bring an appetite. You're going to be hit from every angle with mouthwatering aromas and displays. Check out the massive range in Utobeer, and grab a juicy duck sandwich at the stall next door.

The raclette place is epic. It's in the north section of the market by the church yard. The raclette line is in front and the grilled cheese sandwich line is on the side by the entrance to the church.
