- Suzie FritzMars 5, 2012Had an amazing stay here! we were on the 11th floor on the end, great view, clean, great location, quiet, very comfy beds, which made us sleep in! but I loved it & def stay here again!
- Rose CherusseryMars 25, 2013The Park Plaza takes you back in time. Small rooms, but worth the experience. Check out the old chute mailing system and elevators while you're here!
- Luigi MondiMars 26, 2013Large flats teen TVs, incredibly comfy beds, very clean, and charming. Close to the T (green line) and the Common. Only drawback is the quite expensive fee for wifi ($12.50 per device per day).
- teresa SchmitzMai 10, 2011Years ago there may have been mold. I'm here now, 5/10/2011 and see/smell no mold. Gorgeous, grand hotel. One of my favorites. Check out Sweet, AK cupcake shop on newbury-aboit a half mile stroll
- They turn off the A/C when it is cool outside, so it gets warm in the rooms. Ask for a window fan when you check in, and ask to have someone open the window for you since they are bolted shut.
- Tony ClaridgeAvril 25, 2017Lovely building and room was great but stay away from the woman on the tourist trip desk (Carolyn)..she gave us duff info which led us on a wasted trip and costing us more money .. complained
- Andrew C.Juin 12, 2016After the renovations, the rooms are very well anointed. Things are brighter, calm and muted colours. Really like the new look. Service is still impeccable.
- This is a great hotel. Friendly staff, historical. Room sizes reflect age, but are very nice. Close to the T and a nice shopping district, parks, harbor, etc.
- Learn about the history of the hotel just around the corner from the main desk. This is the original bar drink menu.
- Rachelle KingSeptembre 26, 2013Great service to guest. Booked my stay here via Rocketmiles.com and am so happy with accommodations here!
- Erik BrokAoût 30, 2015The bar is really good. The staff will mix excellent drinks whether you chose the ones on the card or your personal favorite.
- Beth AnnAoût 20, 2018Good location. We have a suite and it's small so I can imagine how small the regular rooms are. The valet parking fee if $51 per day, even if you are a hotel guest.
- People weren't so fat and self righteous as they are now ninety years ago. That's why the rooms are small. It gets the job done; you have a place to rest your head when you're not exploring downtown.
- Historical hotel with a very nice wall photos and a wonderful view of Boston..btw location is also great, in the heart of the city
- Ryan BrightSeptembre 5, 2015I recommend continuing your hotel search unless you like historic color palettes, laughable elevator algorithms, and hallways that take the space your room so desperately needs.
- The Verizon talent acquisition team was right here. If you are looking to start your career, now is the time. Do your research on the company and if it's the right fit apply at www. VZWcareers.com
- Nina TurnerJuillet 18, 2011Yes, it is dated & not "modern" by any means, but everything is clean; service is great; beds are very comfortable. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a decent place to stay while exploring Boston.
- Dana MarieSeptembre 22, 2016Beautifully quaint hotel in a great part of town. Room was very clean and the staff was great.
- Sean BorowskiJuin 26, 2011Staff was courteous and helpful. We experienced free wifi on the 12th floor, not sure if this is because we were close to the towers or if this is a new addition. A nice beautiful old hotel.
- Jessica U.Décembre 3, 2010If you stay here, you must invest in the 15th flr rooms (towers level). Updated, free wifi, deluxe continental bfast, evening snacks & hors d'oeuvres, free paper daily if you choose, flat screen plasm
- Risa ShimizuMars 20, 2016the room is neet and the location is good too. 1min walk to the subway station and there are lots of shops around.
- Kazz NealAvril 9, 2012Great service, hotel is beautiful and well kept. Across from the T, short walk to the gardens, and close to all the good stuff! I approve!
- Erica YoungAvril 24, 2012Located in a great neighborhood a couple blocks from Boston Commons. Also, happy to say they have wifi now for a nominal daily rate in the hotel rooms.
- This hotel is very nice! Take a look around and notice all of detail. If these walls could talk! Great location as well!
- Erik VollebregtOctobre 3, 2013Really noisy place with unsettling experience of sharing a room with your neighbours because the walls are so thin. And come on, make the wifi free in the rooms. But, location is super.
- Great hotel. Soo amazingly retro glam! Rooms can be small but comfy. Great location and service.
- Nice comfortable room. Friendly staff. No wifi in rooms is a WTF, but it's avail downstairs and possible in room if lucky. Excellent location, close to everything.
- Great hotel. Great location--so close to everything. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.
- Cory O'BrienSeptembre 10, 2012Beautiful hotel, reasonable rates, close to everything, and friendly service. What more could you ask for?
- HelenAvril 9, 2012Bathroom's tiny, walls let in a LOT of sound, & maids skipped cleaning one day. Great if you love old architecture, building's gorgeous!
- Very warm and friendly hotel. They just made the whole hotel wireless (at a fee & NOT free) and installed 37 inch Plasma TVs in every room.
- ConnorAoût 6, 2014The rooms may be small, but that's expected for its age. The location is fantastic!
- Peyton SherwoodDécembre 9, 2013Rooms are Victorian, quaint. Ask for a room on the Statler Park/Columbus Ave side for a better view.
- Heather ShinnFévrier 10, 2012Beautiful historical hotel in a great location. within walking distance to Boston Commons. Very comfortable stay.
- Sergio LopezOctobre 12, 2015Rooms are a bit small, but the staff is great, and it's a beautiful building!
- Jeff MarlingAvril 20, 2018Basically the place is amazing until you leave the lobby. Broken woodwork, small rooms. I had a “deluxe” king...room didn’t even have a dresser or separate sitting area.
- Kathi KalinaFévrier 14, 2013This is an example of the grand hotel of yesteryear. It is clean. However, it is in need of some serious infrastructure updates like the electrical. There is no electrical outlet in the bathroom.
- teresa SchmitzAoût 20, 2011Reserve the Towers level. Delicious and plentiful breakfast and afternoon snacks. Definitely worth the upcharge.
- Heather HarrisJuillet 7, 2013I always stay here when in Boston. Great location and staff is very helpful.
- Erik RodriguezJuillet 7, 2015rooms kind of small but centrally located and clean!.. nice place... but I need more room for my luggage:).
- It's a historical hotel people, of course it's going to be "dated". Beautiful moldings & fixtures, very well kept despite age. Extremely friendly service.
- Liz CroftJanvier 1, 2013Maybe people power worked! Lobby now has 3 minute wifi free. Lobby appears remodelled with a number of chairs.
- Fatma AlSAoût 27, 2015after their construction everything is beautiful! Great Service, delicious food..but too small rooms
- Trisha ReynoldsJuillet 21, 2013Mixed review. The A/C didn't work at all. Our room never got below 75 so they comped our room and gave us breakfast vouchers. Walls were very thin. Loved the location and history of the hotel.
- Johnny WFévrier 26, 2014Historical yes but not up to par. Room was cold with temperature at 84 which felt like 62. Call about get issue and draft from windows and they bring me a portable heater wtf !!
- Hotel is getting a bit run down but the gym in the basement is very nice.
- J HaskAoût 2, 2014Elevators are terrible, plan to give yourself an extra 10 minutes to get downstairs! They get filled and stop at every floor
