This place has multiple levels (including a roof) and multiple rooms. End up in the right one and you'll find an ok selection of craft beers & imported beers. In the wrong one, deafening music & bros.

Really cool rooftop beer garden.Prices are good, the crowd is cool, food/snacks are really good and service/staff was awesome. Random naked lady doing a voyeuristic show in the standard hotel window.

Get here early (before 9) to stake out a table on the roof while there's no line, by 11 the line is down the block to even get in, and don't even think about trying to go up to the rooftop.

Great rooftop bar. Make sure to get there early in the summer to snag a table spot on the roof top. Good for people watching. Good for scoping out the 20- and 30-something singles.

I once knew a ‘brass monkey.’ He was a Japanese macaque with a prodigal skill at the French horn. His rendition of ‘Moon River’ was particularly moving.

It's meatpacking so as you can imagine there's a long line and a ton of people but it's fun and very different from the other spots nearby. This place is massive and more bar vs. club atmosphere.

When the Standard Biergarten is heaving, this is a great place to come get away and find a seat outside. In the winter there are plenty of cozy corners to hide.

Comfortable atmosphere (when it isn't wall-to-wall packed) One of the most desirable places to grab a drink in the meatpacking district, with a spacious outdoor roof terrace.

Rosie and Nolan are the best bartenders here. Love the live band they have on the weekends and the fries are super tasty. Perfect spot to watch the game or catch up with friends.

Solid spot for drinks after work. Nightlife scene is decent here too. No bar on the roof so make sure you have a drink from one of the two bars below before you go up there.

Unexciting beer list but if you can snag a seat on the roof it's a great place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Great weeknight bartender staff. There is a good partition between the front and rear bar for easy and private conversation.

Multi-storied wood paneled bar has lots of nooks and tables to settle down with beer and friend's (new and old). Roof top joy in warm weather.

Go during the week, if you can. Weekend nights tend to get pretty crowded. Also, check-out the rooftop - on a crisp night it's simply amazing!

The Franziskaner Dunkelweizen is amazing. Don't cuss at the staff and yell loudly about how much your dad makes. You might get arrested.

Love this bar... it's huge and has a rooftop patio with a great view of the Hudson River. Big screen TVs for sports fans.

one of my fave bars. i celebrated my 22nd bday here and it was so easy to reserve a table--there's also no charge for the table. all you have to do is order from the waitress.

Went here on a Thursday night, but the rooftop was so crowded you could barely move. There are so many other bars/clubs in the area, so I'd go to other venues in the area if you have a chance.
