    Kool Korners was the Westside's favorite Cuban sandwich restaurant for 30 years. The Crazy Cuban opened as a tribute to owner Idelfonso Ramirez who decided to move Kool Korners to Birmingham.

    If you went downtown looking for Kool Korners, and realized they're no longer there, this is your next best choice in the area. Lacking a little appeal, get your sandwhich to go.

    Get the media noche bread. Wish people would stop referencing KK. Both are Cuban, other than that, not similar at all. Good sandwiches!
