I think this museum was well worth £7...well; I thought maybe it was s bit bigger, but hell...it was nice and scary :-)

The museum here is on the site of the infamous Southwark prison known as the Clink, from which other prisons get their nickname. It was built in the 11th century, and torn down by rioters in 1780.

Well worth a visit for some history - use the special to get 2 for 1 otherwise its a bit overpriced!

Only go if you have a discount voucher - don't pay full price! Pretty average. You can go through the whole place in about 20mins.

Avoid. This is a tourist trap of a quite small & overpriced museum. Badly wax puppets & blood effects presenting the Southwark/Clink prison & it's history.

Intellectually this is important but its not a 'theme park' like other nearby places.

Avoid like plague in jail. Small, overpriced and nothing spectacularly interesting. Epic Fail and tourist trap.
