Terminals are NOT connected. Be sure you are at correct security checkpoint for your gate. DON'T be sneaky and go to different checkpoint to avoid long lines. Security lines actually move very fast.

Try to avoid using lyft or Uber to get home. There’s a single waiting line that adds any Uber or lyft ordered to a very long queue with no eta.

If you are staying in a hotel downtown, the shuttle is $36 round-trip. Info near baggage claim.

I'm an avid traveller. Fly all across the nation on a yearly basis... This has to be the absolute WORST airport that I've been to in the states. Hands down. It's cluttered and small.

Get a drink at the Abita bar before you gi thru security if time. Slim pickings on concourse c at least.

If you are going to concourse C eat before you go through security unless you want a Lucky Dog or more overpriced Creole food.

This airport is clean. Maybe in part because the food sucks. Yes, the food is lame: but the burgers and fries at Ye Olde Collage Inn are decent.

Worst airport in the USA. Rental car shuttle takes 30 minutes and doesn’t even drop you off at arrivals.

Security takes forever! Very inefficient and understaffed. Give yourself at least an hour. Worst I've ever been through.
