Le poisson du jour et le cabillaud étaient excellents, les accords sont parfaits. Mets raffinés. Les beignets faits minute sont parfaits. Je recommande vivement.
Icelandic traditional food, maincourses are good but this restaurant is too overrated!! Cuisine traditionnelle Islandaise, bon pour un plat principal mais resto surcoté
This place is so cute and rustic! Quite tiny but cozy and worth the 20 minute wait. The food is fantastic! The cod with root veggies and the fish stew were both outstanding! Great drinks & desserts!
We had the lobster soup and the cod with mashed potatoes. It was the best cod I've ever had. So delicious I highly recommend it. Great service as well. And the place has a really nice vibe.
Had the traditional lamb soup, braised beef cheeks and the rhubarb cake. All really great. The beef cheeks in particular made the meal for me! Very soft, tender and flavourful!
Really good icelandic food. The soup was amazing, and the fish was really fresh and nicely cooked to keep the natural taste. Totally recommended. In the range of 50$
Don't let the name fool you - this is not a tourist trap, but rather a cosy, semi-upscale place w/ delicious food. The lamb and cod were excellent. Plus they have cool wall murals of different fish.
I ve had an amazing cod, with smashed potatoes and vegetables! Really recommend it! And I also loved the butter with truffles they've brought with the bread! The staff is gentle and friendly!
Cozy vibes, authentic eats, they don't lie when they say the lamb in Iceland is the best you'll ever have! Get a taste of both seafood and meat soup by opting for appetizer portions.
The restaurant had a warm, cozy ambiance where every detail was thoughtfully curated. Each dish was exquisitely prepared, delicate, and absolutely delicious!
Lamb is great but the cod is superb. Service and friendliness of the staff is excellent. They held our reservation for 2 hours, despite a 1 hour waiting list, as our flight was delayed.
The lamb was perhaps the best I've ever eaten. Generous portions, beautifully composed plates with balanced flavor profiles. The restaurant owner's mom bakes the rhubarb cake and the brownies!
The creamy shellfish soup is the best I've ever tried! Start with that soup and the scallops. Do yourself a favor and order the lamb dish and try not to lick the plate afterwards.
A lovely, low-lit, homey little oasis off the main shopping street. The owner is extremely friendly, the food is good, and they brew a mean cappuccino. Also, free wifi!
This was my best restaurant experience in Reykjavik. One of the few fancy places where we didn't need to book a table in advance. At worst, wait for 5-10 min for a table to become available.
Cozy restaurant serving small portions at a high price. Food was good though. Lamb cooked nicely, shellfish soup good but rich, salad could use more greens
