AuthenticMexico City cuisine with a fun vibe. Their margaritas won't disappoint, and they have a cigar bar if you're into that! Only place I've seen that serves butter with their chips and salsa. :)
True Mexico City gourmet Mexican food. This place has been around for years and it's no surprise why. The entire menu is delicious, but it would be a mistake not to order the Filete Cantinflas.
The Escalope Cordon Azul (stuffed veal) is to die for. Ask for Eddie #2 (since there's 2 Eddies)...he's absolutely amazing and has been serving my family and I since 2003.
They serve traditional-but-fancy Mexican, like Filete Pimienta and Pechuga de Pollo a la Parilla. The maitre'd always has a cool car parked out front. En savoir plus
Try some fish dishes. Mi Amigo, Javier, is good at what he does. A verynice guy—a Tejas fisherman. I’d say his place is in the top two for Continental Mexico City, GourmetMexicano in Dallas...still!
Though 30 years old, Javier's is still ridicuously popular among ParkCities' elite. Recipes come straight from Mexico City, and are best washed down with a Mexican Martini. En savoir plus
Get the Sangrita shot, hidden gem. Order tequila and it is an extra drink that accompanies it. You will like it guaranteed or I'll buy you a margarita!
Disappointed: the filete Cantinflas is a thin piece of steak with lots of cheese. The corn and flour tortillas were store bought and tasteless. Food taste was plain/ordinary for a 29.00 entree.
