Great place for apples and all things Fall, just south of Syracuse. Right down the road from the Apple Festival too!
A beautiful drive down Route 20 to get here and an amazing view of the surrounding area from the Skyline lodge. Great place to spend a Sunday afternoon doing a leisurely hike.
A great place to pick apples, pick out pumpkins, and spend a family day outdoors. They have pony rides, a corn maze, hay rides, etc. Really nice orchard and lots of homemade goodies!
Great family place to take a hay ride (haunted or not) and to get pumpkins. Come back at Christmas time for the most perfect trees anywhere.
One of my favorite places year-round, but a great place to take a walk in the fall ~ make sure to walk Round Lake, which is right behind Green Lake. Dog-friendly park :)
Beaver Lake has some great nature trails, all flat and soft, through the woods ~ super place to take a leisurely run. They also have a Golden Harvest Festival to celebrate Fall. No dogs allowed here
Hafner's is one of the nicest places around & has the most amazing greenhouses you've ever seen. For fall they go all out with Haunted House, straw maze, pumpkin painting, etc. Something for everyone!
Fright Nights at the NYS Fairgrounds is a long-standing fall tradition. Runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights through October. Great place to get your freak on ;)
