If looking for a solid workout, walk the promenade from the 4th Avenue and Shore Road entrance down to 92nd Street overpass. Its a healthy hike but bring water on a hot day & a camera.
In addition to the amazing array of shows there is a dining area where one can get a fresh plate of pierogies and kielbasa for dirt cheap.
As this is a buffet, there are a vast amount of options but one should pick only a few items at each pass to avoid wasted food.
