Feast your eyes on the spectacular Avenue of Limes. Measured at 9/10ths of a mile, it is the longest line of limes in England, with trees dating back as far as 1716.

If you make your way behind the box office to the atrium you will find the exterior walls of two flint cottages and shops purchased for the theatre in 1979 to extend the original building.

A little gem of science and reason on the A31. The planetarium (Largest in the UK) is worth the price of admission alone but the two floors of science and engineering interactive displays are sublime

Sit on one of the benches along the Cathedral wall in the Inner Close and watch the world go by while basking in the sun. If you’re lucky, you can also hear music from inside the Cathedral.

It is like you have found a secret garden. Great place to have a sandwich and get some peace and quiet. You can hear the choir if they are singing in the cathedral.

I like it, the food is pretty good (better than spoons) and it's the only place in winchester that i found Guinness that doesn't taste horrible
Sit here and eat, rather than inside one of the two pasty shops. There's often a busker, too.
