Pizza is very average, place is too touristy. Worth a visit though just to check the box you've been to the 1st pizza place in NYC.

The food is not bad at all (quite the opposite!), but the waiters are kind of rude and you feel as if they wanted you to eat in a rush.

Remember, no credit cards; no refills. A little pricey. I'm glad I went to say I've been to the birth place of pizza, but no need to wait in that long line again.

Skip this place and go to a real pizza shop. If you do eat here, skip the "wild" mushrooms (white button mushrooms) and "coal fire roasted" red pepper (completely flavorless).
