Mike: Although pricey, it doesn't matter what you pick out. This is probably the best butcher in the city with very knowledgeable employees. My personal favorite are the fresh Hungarian sausages.

Mike: Good rib tips and even better hot links at this Chicago staple. The sauce is divisive though: it's very different and has an almost numbing effect. Be prepared for lines out the door on the weekends.
Mike: Best Italian bakery (and pizza!) in the entire city. You can't go wrong with a slice of sausage, or a biscotti, or a loaf of bread, or some cookies, or - anything!

Mike: The dal makhani was delicious, as were the samosas and garlic naan. You really can't go wrong with anything here. But be careful, spicy means Indian-level spiciness (not for the faint of heart).
Mike: Rotating drafts of some of the best beer (especially goses and sours) in the entire country. Chris Betts does amazing work - a flight of tasters is the smart move here.

Mike: Marinated zucchini was my favorite item. Definitely try the pici (a take on pasta carbonara) but skip the super uni shooter and bavette steak - unimpressive and overpriced. Good wine selection.
Mike: A classic Chicago establishment and a great place to catch a show. Reasonably priced ($7-$8) beers to boot, given the venue. Chick-fil-A is next door in case you need a pre-show snack.
