- Extensive beer selection with ridiculously good food. Get the seared tuna, mussels, netsuke bacon lollipops, bone marrow and best for last... Carpaccio!!!A voté pour il y a Il y a 1 semaine
- Laura McKennaFévrier 27, 2014Definitely try the shrimp and grits! Four large shrimp with super tasty & creamy grits & a jalapeño sauce. My friends and I split this as an appetizer, but I had this as my meal my 2nd time there!A voté pour il y a Il y a 5 jours
- Lee DiazJuillet 24, 2018A seasonal menu that maintains local favorites. Incredible selection of beers on tap. I suggest grabbing a number of shared plates: Marrow, Wagyu Carpaccio, Duck Wings, Moth Balls. Pair with a brew.
- Daniel ShiJuillet 19, 2014If you get the shrimp and grits, try it with the sauce on the side. It is really great without it, and there is A LOT of the jalapeño sauce to the point where it kind of overpowers the flavor.
- Their burger is my Best Burger in Dallas, and their zucchini chips are thin and salty with a great Ranch dressing to dip. Add the zucchini as a side to your burger, and you've got a fabulous meal!
- Lee DiazJuillet 8, 2018A seasonal menu that maintains local favorites. Incredible selection of beers on tap. I suggests grabbing a number of shared plates: Marrow, Wagyu Carpaccio, Duck Wings, Moth Balls. Pair with a brew.
- Shawn DeinesMars 23, 2018A bit over-hyped, good food but all the dishes have a lot of competing flavors...German bratwurst on cous cous w/ pickled celery instead of kraut or spaezle? Come on y'all.
- Ray LopesAoût 29, 2016The Badass Bacon Waffle and the Country Breakfast are delicious options for a satisfying brunch, specially when paired with a Bloody Mary or a North Coast Old Rasputin Imperial Stout!
- Tony DaughtryNovembre 15, 2018Dinner menu is Tapas style (mostly) and lunch is Entrees, the Chicken Skin Chips were so tasty, and the Sweetbreads were the best I've ever had
- Josell BlairSeptembre 5, 2016I visited this place a couple of days ago; I just forgot to write a review. Well the place itself has a cool setting and very lovely servers. The foods were great also though with a minimum of portion
- Lana VenturaOctobre 5, 2015The best Steak Tartare and Mussels in Dallas! Great ambiance not too upscale. One of the best place for caipirinha cocktail. My favorite restaurant in Dallas by far!
- Rose IbrahimAoût 12, 2013Awesome atmosphere. I tried the grilled cheese and gazpacho. I didn't think either were spectacular. However, I will be back because I saw some other items I might like. Pecan pie was to die for.
- Get the Neusuke Bacon with funnel cake and maple hollandaise sauce!! And the Beef Bone Marrow! You will not be sorry!!!
- EaterJanvier 21, 2013Meddlesome Moth pioneered the gastropub movement in Dallas, and remains head and shoulders above the rest, with food that's better than ever and a breathtaking beer selection. [Eater 38 Member]
- Sirus OrndoffJuillet 27, 2015I love plates to share here. Rich and delicious. definitely recommend reservations. This is The Flying Saucer for grown adults with craft beers and artisanal food creations.
- ChrisJanvier 16, 2017Legit might be a top five place in Dallas. Sweetbreads were great. Beef tartare is good. Beer selection is fantastic. Wait staff might be the coolest around
- Dallas ObserverJuillet 22, 2013Get a side of mayo to dip those french fries in and work your way through the local taps. This Design District beer bar has always had great mussels and an impressive beer list.
- Michael BJuin 10, 2013Dinner for two: $$$. Sitting under the stained glass Elvis: priceless. Oh and try the bone marrow (my first time) cause its indescribable, in a good way. Coming back to try everything.
- Michael McMinnJuin 16, 2022Beer selection is…in a word Amazeballs!!! Thai Curry Mussels, bone marrow, oysters, Brussels sprouts, and LITERALLY every other EFFING thing on the menu.
- ThrillistJuin 11, 2013The Moth's slinging 10-12 classic cocktails like the Vesper, the Sazerac, and the Dark & Stormy, all of which will fill the void of your confidence. En savoir plus
- Jen FryOctobre 19, 2015Bone marrow, mussels, beer selection. It's no wonder this place is rated #1! Sit at the bar for a more authentic, less rigid and formal gastropub experience.
- Shannon NortonOctobre 31, 2013The Coq Au Vin, featured as a special was divine. Came here because they feature sour beers (Rodenbach), noticed many Moscow mules floating about in copper cups and for good reason
- JessicaMai 28, 2015Bone marrow! (And pretty much everything else on the menu is phenomenal.) Such an interesting and yummy dish. This place is very cool! Love it.
- Michael CJuin 1, 2018Beer selection 😍 Generous marrow bones, BBQ shrimp was ridiculously good, tomato and burrata, inspired bratwurst plate, broccolini gruyere baked special.
- Dallas ObserverNovembre 13, 2014The Meddlesome Moth offers an incredibly wide selection put together by people who are passionate about great beer.
- Content Equals MoneySeptembre 13, 2013There’s no need to meddle with a recipe if nothing’s wrong, and there’s certainly nothing wrong with Meddlesome Moth! What a great experience – there are many lessons to learn from the bar! En savoir plus
- Get the hummus and the burger, and then dip the burger in the hummus. Brilliant suggestion by @karengawley.
- EaterOctobre 5, 2011The Meddlesome Moth features rare craft beers and delicately curated gastro-pub fare in a cheeky, cathedral-like spot in the burgeoning Design District. [Eater 38 Member]
- Robyn HarmanSeptembre 9, 2018Great bar with a cool vibe. Tons of unique beers on tap. Great place for brunch. Order something that has gravy with it.
- UPDATE: The Chicken Pie has been removed from the menu but is on special occasionally I'm told. Never mind, No pie gives way to the Lamb, the Bacon Lollipops, well, really any of the stick dishes.
- Marilyn BaileyOctobre 16, 2011Even traditional brunch drinks get a boost of beer goodness. The bloody Mary is made a bit creamier with a jolt of Imperial stout, and the excellent mimosa is made with Hefeweisen.
- Put yourself in the bar's hands and try some different beers They're happy to grab a sample of drafts so you know you get something you like.
- Shane MullenMars 16, 2012This is a bar that hordes their best beers in the back for employees and special occasions that one must be invited to. I highly recommend going to the Common Table.
- The place to go in the Design District for cafe beer and excellent food. Try the risotto, it never disappoints.
- Ben and the gang know their beers! Always great service. This is one of the top 5 beer gastropubs in the nation. I travel a lot.
- Vivek DajeeDécembre 15, 2012Smoked chicken salad croissant is amazing! Also, any place that gives me a Coke in a vintage bottle with Santa on it is a winner!
- Justin SFévrier 3, 2013Thai Mussels are amazing. Make sure to use the bread to dunk in all of the delicious broth. Also Ahi Tuna "stick meat" is great.
- Michelle WallaceMai 10, 2013Ask for Glen to be your server! He did a GREAT job, knows the menu well, & has a great personality! Go Glen!!!!
- Neil McginnisJuillet 7, 2013Do NOT get Shrimp & Grits. It is good but the subtle flavors make for a relatively boring dish. Jalapeno gravy tastes like green sauce on enchiladas at every Mexican place. Sweetbread is 10x better!
- Justin DuVernoisDécembre 24, 2014Told by server that they are tied for best beer selection in the world. Didn't let us down. Great time!
- Lauren AikenAvril 8, 2012For two, I suggest sharing one order of mussels (classic or Thai) and one shared plate (shrimp and grits is delish). Fav draft beer = Rogue
- Oscar AlvarezSeptembre 10, 2017The Ahi Tuna sticks are delicate and delicious, and don't dare leave without trying the Duck Wings.
- Daniel ArakiAvril 3, 2016Everything I've had so far. The bone marrow was really good, I also highly recommend the mussels!
- Matthias BehnkeOctobre 13, 2013Nice burgers! I love the beer as well! But the interior is simply weird.....but i guess u should go there for the food....
- Jennifer GallardoMai 14, 2016Beer flights are tons of fun! The food is also delicious though the portions are modest
- for eats definitely try the veal sweetbreads and bone marrow, the 5 spice pork belly was forgettable, the texture was more akin to pulled pork, ask for samples of beers on draft or try a flight!
- Robyn FDécembre 13, 2011Great beer selection with friendly, knowledgeable service. Great vibe and some stand-out food. Try the Moth Balls, beet salad and the sirloin skewers.
- Great Art District bar/ full restaurant. Amazing beer choices. Impressive whiskey options. Locals favorite. (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) En savoir plus
- Jeff UMars 14, 2011Beer selection is great and all beer is served in the proper glass, at the right temp and with a nice head. Order anything off the food menu. It's all awesome.
