This place is incredible and a gem within nyc. The architecture alone is stunning, but be sure to check out their impressive calendar of events.

Fabulous conservation tour on Thursdays at 10AM. Well worth the time and $10. Excellent history, design, architecture insights.

Fantastic eg. of a sensitive touch in preserving historical decoration yet modernizing usage. Kudos to the vision of Herzog & de Meuron. Get a peep to all the spaces via the weekly 75mins tours @$10.

A unique venue in New York. Fairs, and art installations are neat, but hearing Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms or John Luther Adams’ Inuksuit in such a huge space is quite an experience...

A gorgeous old building! Many of the ground floor rooms are open to the public even if you aren't seeing an exhibit. Stop in and check out the space and catch an show.
