A fun spot. Any rooftop is. But right next to queens bridge is an awesome view. The prices are more of their cousin manhattan. The food u can skip. The music is good people are sexy. Valet parking.
Dope view and good people on a Sunday! The living social is shady BUT it's still worth it. Sriracha Wings and Burger are awesome. Tuna tacos - meh. Chocolate banana spring rolls are small but yummy!
Just across the East River at the Ravel Hotel in Long Island City, Penthouse808 is a chilled out indoor/outdoor hangout with amazing views of the city skyline and Asian-inspired cocktails and food.
Peer out over the city and enjoy some lobster dumplings and grilled swordfish skewers (from Executive Chef Seth Levine) at this Pacific Rim-inspired (the place, not the movie, don't worry) beauty. En savoir plus
To see the skyline head-on, look no further than Queens. The Ravel Hotel’s terrace restaurant has views of that, the Queensboro Bridge and the Silvercup Studios sign. En savoir plus
Get here early if you really want to party because the bouncers clearly think this is a higher level establishment than it is, looking for tips to let you up. Its the Ravel not the W Hotel!
Ambiance is lovely, especially for couples. Smooth rooftop. Happy hour between 5-7. Drinks are worth the happy hour prices but not the full price. Food is cool.
They take their shyt way too seriously here $ 8 beers $14 drinks in the downstairs spot that looks like a garage ...THIS AIN'T MANHATTAN it's long island city...nice roof top and view of the bridge
As soon as you step out of the elevator, you’ll be greeted with the most wondrous view of the Manhattan skyline (especially at night). The food is so-so, but the drinks are nice and strong.
No cover - drinks are a bit price and tip is included so don't tip additionally... If you got a bike the bouncers are cool they hook you up w/ VIP parking
I was there last night and the bouncer was so rude. Calling people names and acting superior. Definitely put a damper on on our friends bday celebration.
Staffed by hookers and with loud, tacky dance music pumped into it on "party nights". Overpriced drinks but the food is more than decent. Best attended during the winter.
I'd come back here to try dinner on a weeknight before I'd ever come to party. DJ 9pm doesn't mix very well, spent most of the night standing around instead of dancing :(
If you are simply looking for a place to gather your friends to celebrate your birthday, a going away party, or you just want to catch up with old friends, Penthouse 808, at Ravel Hotel is the ideal place to hang out...
