Went for our anniversary. $130 for oysters, entrées, 2 glasses of wine, desert and coffees, including tip. Worth every penny! Everything was excellent, especially the scallop dish, truly exceptional.

Get the Rockfish & Barcat Oyster Bourride with garlic, fennel, potatoes, poached egg & grilled bread. The Grilled Virginia Scallops with braised Oxtail, roasted cauliflower & curry was also excellent.

Fans of Brine in Fairfax. This menu is different. And it's good! Similar vibe to Brine. Nice bartenders. Casual and good service. Great cocktails here as well.

At Rappahannock Restaurant, chef Dylan Fultineer serves perfectly cooked Virginia scallops surrounding rich, beefy braised oxtail and roasted cauliflower coated in a healthy dose of curry powder.

Stuffed salmon was incredible and so were the scallops. Everything was awesome except for the dull atmosphere. It is a very quiet intimate dining restaurant.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. The oysters are awesome. That's a given. But the bar is top notch, too, with a great draft selection and fine cocktails.

Service is very questionable, but the temperature is outrageously hot. Don't yell at us for hanging our coats on your empty chairs.
