This place is a popular spot so don't come too hungry. I recommend the Texas Size donut or a dozen plain glazed. Yes, they are supposed to be yellow! Happy eating :)
Amazing! Long lineswrap around the place and there is a small parking lot..it moves fast so be prepared! 3 registers and lots of Big donuts! The cheesekolaches are great!
Everything I tried was good, so I expect the many other items on their menu are just as delicious. The pic below shows the size of one of their huge donuts. They have smaller ones! :)
This local institution has crazy lines but they move really fast and efficiently. The yeast and cake donuts are both great. Loved the maple glaze. Different type of dough in both….something unique
I am particularly fond of the jelly donut yet the chocolate cake is good as is the apple fritters in fact I am sure everything is good based on the lines in the drive thru. Service inside is faster
Wow! Haven't eaten the donut yet but can I tell you??? The service is AMAZING, down to earth, TEXAS style! Thank you, gentlemen for the excellent professionalism!
I like to get the Texas sized donut from my Birthday. For those days when it's not my b-day the jalapeno sausage with a donut (any flavor) is a fantastic way to start a happy day.
Surely you've heard of the world famous Lonestar bakery. Home of the Round Rock Donut, covered in its famous orange glaze. Beware of the Texas Size Donut, it will take you all day to finish.
Adam Richman of Travel Channel's Man vs. Food selected this place as on of the best of the best in Austin. Although it's about 15 miles outside of downtown Austin - it is very much worth the drive.
The plain Round Rock glazed donuts are the best donuts around. Chocolate is okay but a bit overwhelming. The Texas sized donut is about 8 regular donuts but is more like a cake than a donut.
Dreamed of coming here ever since I saw it on an episode of Man vs Food. Definitely wasn't disappointed! The classic glazed was exactly as I imagined it. 😋
