Book ahead. The bar seats are OK. Food/beverage minimum. The southern cuisine is superb. Servers can be distracting, ask to sit on the left side of the room in front if bothered. Late night is great!
Sunday fun-day takes on a new meaning. Go early, stay late. Late night jam session is great if you're looking for local flavor. Provides a community for musicians local and abroad. It's authentic.
It's decent and in a good location, but the vibe is a little lackluster and the service isn't what it could be. Good acts sometimes, but sometimes a total miss. Reservations generally important.
Beautiful room. Good musicians. The stage is in the front of the room; there are blind spots. Book ahead and ask to sit where you can see the musicins. Otherwise, you'll have to crane your neck.

No food, well drinks, awkward room, AMAZING music. Go to the first set, pay one cover, stay all night and only pay the drink minimum for each additional set. You couldn't possibly regret it! LOVE!!!
Service is slow, they try not to be disruptive, but rarely succeed. The shows are great, excellent booking, but it's an uncomfortable, loud room with expensive cocktails and lackluster food.
This is an incredible room and a must see for New Yorkers and tourists alike. Please check the schedule, buy tickets and go to a show. When Wynton is there, it's beyond belief! Beautiful!
Good music but no thanks! The seating is tight and uncomfortable, the food is like bad wedding food, the drinks aren't great and the tourists don't understand the etiquette of a jazz club. Nightmare!

I really like Joe's Pub. Book way ahead. Ask for lower level seating if possible. If not, ask to sit on the rail on the upper level. Seating is tight and there are a couple of bad seats, so do ask.

Some of the best cat's in the world play here. It's an intimate room. Great for date night. Incredible acoustics. I love the bar. I love the tables. The food is good. The service is great! Spot on!
It's very small. In the basement next to La Lanterna. They share a menu and have good food and a decent wine list. Good musicians. Inexpensive cover. Get there early for a good seat.
Wow this place is tiny. Make a reservation. Go early as you can. It's hopping upstairs in the restaurant and downstairs in the club. The food is superb. The programming (music schedule) is awesome!
For a place that's within walking distance of home, I always forget it's there. When I do go, I'm always so happy to have gone! I love the space, the music is world class and the food is really good.
