We gave India Imperialism, they gave us the curry, currently the No. 1 cuisine in the U.K. "Cheers Lads!" Your choice of either beef, chicken or faux chicken and Vegetables. Served with rice, chips or a bit o' both.
Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie
Faux ground meat (tastes just like the real thing) simmered with fresh vegetables and our homemade gravy, topped off with mashed potatoes and an optional grilled cheese topping.
Chicken Pot Pie
Tender pieces of chicken breast and fresh vegetables simmered in a white wine sauce topped with a golden puff pastry. Served with chips or mashed potatoes, peas and gravy.
Traditional Sunday Roast
(Sundays only) Get your 'back home' fix that we all love and miss. Succulent roast beef accompanied by Yorkshire pudding, roast and mash potatoes, garden fresh vegetables and topped with our delicious homemade gravy. Kick it up a notch with a dab of horseradish and Colemans English Mustard. Sunday traditions alive and well at the Shakespeare.

Cask Conditioned Ale
Our current cask conditioned 'Real' Ale is Stone Pale Ale with Coriander. Drawn from our traditional English hand-pump, this one-off cask has been brewed exclusively for The Shakespeare, un-filtered and un-pasteurized without any additional nitrogen or carbon dioxide pressure.
Harp Lager
First produced in 1960 at the Dundalk Brewery, Ireland, in response to the trend among drinkers in Britain and Ireland toward continental lager. Full-bodied with a reassuring bite. Harp stays sharp to the bottom of the glass.
Bass Pale Ale
A full flavored ale from Burton-on-Trent, England, Bass Pale Ale is considered one of the leading imported beers in the areas of quality, image, and drinkability. The essence of the traditional British beer, Bass is the original Pale Ale and it has been brewed since 1777.

19.2oz Bottle. From Clonmel, County Tipperary. A 4.5% ABV Hard Cider that is rivaling Guinness in sales in Both it's native Ireland and the U.K. A perfect warm weather beverage. Take a pint glass half filled with ice, pour over, and enjoy.

First brewed in Leuven, Belgium in 1366 as a Christmas brew, and named Stella after the Latin for"star", because of its exceptional clarity. England's best selling European beer.
Smithwick's Irish Ale
Smithwick's (pronounced 'smith-icks') is an Irish red ale from Kilkenny in Ireland. Irelands oldest ale, in production since 1710, it combines a rich flavour with an ultra smooth finish.

The Glenlivet 12 yr.
The colour is pale gold and the fresh and floral nose is marked by citrus fruit (lemon) . The palate, dry, light and mellow reveals some flower, fruit (citrus, peach) and vanilla hints. The finish, from average lengths finishes on malt touches.
Oban 14 yr.
Oban is the frontier between the West Highlands and the Islands; the meeting place between land and sea. Fine single malt whisky has been made here for over 200 years, in one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland. Made using only the finest barley, malted to the distillery's own particular specification. light peat smoke gives the malt a distinctive character and taste. The result is the smoky, malty dryness in the flavour and finish of Oban.
Talisker 10 yr.
Talisker single malt is known for its above average peat content, and "salty" (or "spicy") character. While the brand is generally well-accepted and sells well, the high phenol level and distinct taste may prove "challenging" for the casual whisky drinker.

Irish Coffee
First we combine Jameson Irish Whiskey with fine brown sugar, than add a rich coffee and finally, top off this Irish classic with heavy cream.
Guinness Stout
A dry stout that started life at Arthur Guinness's St. James's Gate Brewery in Dublin, Ireland in 1759. The beer is based upon the porter style that originated in London in the early 1700s. Enjoyed world wide, this has always been a favourite among beer drinkers who appreciate a full-bodied, creamy, deep ruby red (black) stout. Enjoy our award winning 'Perfect Pint! served the way it always should be. "Slainte!"
Newcastle Brown Ale
'Newckie Brown' as it is commonly known was developed in the northeast of England during the 1920's, this ale, 'The One And Only' is dark and robust with a nutty finish.
Fuller's E.S.B.
Brewed by Fuller's at the Griffin Brewery in Chiswick, the only London brewery still in operation. An ale for the connoisseur of ale drinkers, rich in taste and colour. " Extra Special Bitter". 5.9% ABV.
Boddingtons Pub Ale
Boddingtons is an English beer, originally from Manchester, England, that has been brewed for more than 200 years. Known affectionately as "Boddies", this beer is famous for its smoothness and creamy head retention.
Strongbow Cider
Strongbow is a brand of cider manufactured in Hereford, England by Bulmers. It is the UK's most popular cider, accounting for more than half of the cider sold in Britain. Strongbow is a dry cider. Strongbow is also unique in that it is produced with a Royal Warrant. Strongbow is named after the Cambro-Norman knight Richard de Clare, later Earl of Pembroke, nicknamed "Strongbow" for relying heavily on Welsh archers during campaigns in Ireland, where the native Irish had few bows and relied on javelins.
Union Jack IPA
Brewed by the Firestone-Walker company in Paso Robles, California by Englishman David Walker and his Brother-in-Law, Adam Firestone (of Firestone Tyres fame) . Citrus, pineapple, and a full chewy malt profile finish clean on your palate. Over 70 IBUs and 7.5% alcohol by volume, Union Jack certainly does not have any problems competing with the big India Pale Ales. A beer true to its origins; deeply hopped and bolstered for a long voyage. ACCOLADES: 2009 Australian International Beer Awards Gold Medal. 2008 European Beer Star Award Gold Medal. 2008 GABF Gold Medal. 2008 World Beer Cup Silver Medal - American Strong.

Glenkinchie 10 yr.
The standard 10 year old Glenkinchie single malt is a fairly typical lowland whisky in that it is fresh and light in character, with notes of lemon and cut grass. A sweet nose and a hint of peat make this a good introduction to the world of single malts.
Cragganmore 12 yr.
This 12 year old bottling has a dull gold colour. The nose is rightly famous as being one of the most complex of any single malt. There are sweet floral fragrances with a firm body and malty taste, a long finish with delicate aromas and light smoke.
Dalwhinnie 15 yr.
Set in splendid mountain scenery, Dalwhinnie is the highest distillery in Scotland. The name Dalwhinnie means meeting place, which refers to the meeting of ancient cattle drovers' routes through the mountains. With a sweet, fruity aroma and light taste, this single malt finishes with a hint of heather.
Lagavulin 16 yr.
Lagavulin is a single malt Scotch whisky produced on the island of Islay. It has been described as the "aristocrat" of Islays. It has an unmistakable, powerful, peat-smoke aroma. Described as being robustly full bodied, well-balanced and smooth with a slight sweetness on the palate.
