Alec Murphy: Head downstairs to The Foundation. You'll be shocked at how many less-known skincare and cosmetics brands are available, and even more shocked at how affordable they are. The big names are there too!

Alec Murphy: End of season sales are the ONLY time to shop Allsaints. $50 for an H&M-quality tee in a faded color is unacceptable, but $25? I can stomach that. Look for them in early January and mid-June.

Alec Murphy: Salad the size of a hubcap? Check. Fresh brewed minty green tea? Check. If only they'd bring back my Vietnamese Pork Belly Tacos, then we'd have a real meal.
Alec Murphy: The Tenderloin tips are to DIE for. You'll need to ask for more bread, because that sauce needs to be savored. The Winter 2012/2013 menu will be sorely missed, that Tarragon Lemon Chicken is so good.

Alec Murphy: A large majority of stores here (Coach, J.Crew, Gap, Banana Republic, Guess, Burberry, and most others) are selling product made directly for the outlets. Poor quality, high prices.

Alec Murphy: Be on the lookout for what I call the "point of no return" sales. That's when you'll find tees for less than $10 and jackets for less than $25.
