- Ava GoldmanMars 30, 2016Really great food and kid friendly... But also dog friendly. I'm a dog lover, but we had a chihuahua in the room next to us who barked all day and all night.
- Judy L.Juillet 3, 2011Spa amenities free for guests: sauna, eucalyptus steam, indoor jacuzzi, 3 saline pools, outdoor jacuzzi, gym, exercise classes. Guided hike or stroll along beach yourself. "Fresh" brand spa products.
- Fried Rice & EggsAoût 9, 2011Location, location, location. I recommend a room on top level with partial or full ocean views. Garden views can be iffy depending where your room is located. We stayed in 20 308, awesome room/view.
- Visit Santa BarbaraSeptembre 17, 2012here are four amazing restaurants on the property. If you love wine, head to the four-star Miro restaurant, which features a 12,000-bottle wine cellar.
- Gaia DempseyMai 21, 2015Perfect combination of luxurious beachside resort and wholesome getaway. The food is incredible and makes it easy to be good, and there's great hiking in the area.
- Lisa CousinsNovembre 19, 2012Spend some time in one of the hot tubs, even if it's chilly outside - they are very hot! Try the one in the spa if you want to stay indoors - there's no extra charge for hotel guests to use it.
- Sharon GoldsteinMars 19, 2015Run or walk towards the pier and rock break...at low tide you can access the "secret beach"
- Cindy Garcia-HermanAvril 1, 2016The bistro and spa cafe have great food. We got married here 10 years ago and everything about this hotel is great!!
- Bo LiebmanMars 11, 2017Beautiful spot. Held an event there and staff took care of us well. Good food, spacious conference rooms.
- Judy L.Juillet 2, 2011Ask for them to shuttle you to your room upon arrival. Even with the map, you won't be able to find it & it's a hard walk on hills and stone grounds in stilettos with luggage in tow.
- Rob LettieriMai 25, 2013No one ever hangs out at the end of the pool near sunset so it's a great time to go!
- Visit Santa BarbaraJanvier 15, 2013Make sure to take advantage of the special activities offered such as fireside s’mores, wine tastings and salsa lessons!

- Bobby NooromidOctobre 27, 2012When making a reservation, try to book a room in Villa 10 to get prime location between the beach and Resort Pool.
- Kevin KnightJuillet 21, 2010If you like hilly bike rides and/or downhill skating, the road out to the utility road of the resort is super fun, plus the hill back towards hollister will kick your ass for real.
- Sylvia DiazAoût 31, 2012Bacara needs to retrain staff! $1400 a nite & u have this? Also, bellman should tell u about property highlights when escorting upon c/I & the room, F/D Should never say No until there's no options!
- Das SchlagMai 30, 2011Make sure they clean the hot tub in the spa before you walk in. Make sure they don't just forget to clean your room. And don't pay a $35 corkage fee at the bistro. At the pool they will just open it.
- Gerard RafieNovembre 3, 2016Spa is excellent and rooms are spacious. However too many ants in the bathroom 😩This is annoying.
- Andy AndersonJuillet 7, 2013The property is gorgeous. I can see why the Bennifer was planning to get married here.
- Declan DurcanAoût 22, 2010Avoid walking barefoot on the beach. Apparently oil leaks out "naturally" and you'll find tarballs on the beach. We seen a bunch of people wiping tar off their feet after a walk on the beach.
- Ava GoldmanMars 30, 2016I know I sound like a snob when I say this, but RENT THE MORE EXPENSIVE CABANA. It's not just about the mini fridge or the tv, but the cheaper cabanas are dirty, have bad service, and have no privacy.
- Arturo ChavezMars 26, 2016What a disappointment! Overrated and overpriced. The first room I was in the AC did not work as had stained sheets. The new room had dead bugs on the shower ceiling and the drain backed up! 👎👎👎
- Our clients often stay here. Just 20 min North to the Hollister Ranch gatehouse.
- Free coffee and tea in the bar in the morning.
- Room Service food was "frozen." Yikes! Not what I expected from this resort.
