Go inside the town hall! (Big building with Refugees Welcome sign currently on it). There's a great exhibit going on, modern photography, there's an observation deck, and it's beautiful on the inside.
Books in English! Great if you're an English teacher and you want your students to read in the language :) also cozy and nice pub upstairs, it was refreshing to hear English speakers in Madrid!
Awesome modern art museum. Enough exhibits that something will pique your interest! Famous Spanish works housed here. Definitely worth a visit!
It's the classic Madrid Plaza, gorgeous but with a history that makes it more interesting. Haven't eaten anything in the plaza, not sure if tourist traps. Mercado San Miguel is close by for good eats!
Really dense and delicious Spanish chocolate con churros, it's harder if you come here with a full stomach!
I had an AMAZING hamburger at the "Foie" station, and got the meal for less than 8€ included fries and a beer 👌🏾 also the gelato here was very good. Olives as appetizers were fresh and yummy!
We went on a Wednesday, you had to be on the "list" which luckily for us we were going with an event company. Free entry, and believe it or not, free drinks! Mostly university kids (lots of Americans)
Muy bueno!! This place wad really good actually, and a very good price. I definitely recommend the pizza with spinach (Espinaca). The tapas were also jumbo sized. This is definitely a hidden gem!
Get the 25€ "degustación" and I promise you it will be worth it -- that was one of the most delicious meals. You get 5 tapas, including Spanish tortilla, bacalao, and incredibly well crafted meats.
In spring this huge park is absolutely gorgeous. The crystal palace has art exhibits, as well as the museum within the park. Perfect for sunbathing, working while sitting on grass, or picnicking.
Gorgeous old Spanish buildings, takes you a bit into the past. Fun to walk around the interior streets and explore!
The Arise smoothie and the Acai Berry Boost are both good, and the tacos are yummy! My friend got the super grain bowl and loved it also.
Great coffee, delicious gelato, and delicious looking everything else. This place is quirky and cool and definitely a great stop for coffee and dessert and conversation!
