Trina Beana: Pretty place to walk, ideally in the fall. Maple, Hickory, Apple and Cedar trees. It's a bummer it sits close to I69 but we seen a deer on the trails.
Trina Beana: On land once owned by the author, Gene Stratton Porter. Ruins of the Brushwood School House are out front and mentioned in Porter's book, "Girl of the Limberlost". Historic Limberlost Swamp was here.

Trina Beana: Make sure to check out some of Hy Goldenberg's outhouse collection. Hy donated 41 acres of his property to the state in 1995 for the preserve. Most of his collection is at the Huntington Hist. Society
