The food is solid and the coffee is passable. The one caveat is try to avoid the noon rush hour if you can. It gets pretty hectic, but that happens when you're basically the only thing around.
It's not always fastest at the very beginning of the day. A big line starts up before the doors open. Try a weekday if you can.
Follow the main trails! It's easy to get lost in the multitude of small side-trails.
Awesome little dive. The bathrooms are outside, across the lobby and down the stairs.

Park in the neighborhood just south of Los Feliz Blvd. The walk up to the park is nice and you save yourself an insane amount of time and stress.
Power user tip: get an horchata and an iced coffee. Then mix the two. What!?!?!?
