Only come here if you are serious about meat. Listen to the many amazing choices you have, ask for guidance and end up having a great meal and a very full belly. Don't come here to "grab a bite".
This is like a wormhole to the land of chocolate. Eat it (few choices but god they taste good) or drink it (around 15 different choices), pay a normal price and leave this beautiful cafe with a smile.
This place serves some seriously good Greek cuisine. The ingredients are high quality and the tastes explode in your mouth. Service is great and prices good. And there's no show-off. Great place!
Well don't judge this as a church, but as an exhibition space. We saw the Marilyn Monroe exhibit and it was really good, this should mean they know how to make things interesting.

Start from the top floors, I believe it makes the going around easier. Photos are oddly allowed - even with flash! - and the personnel is very friendly. Looks bigger than it is. Focus on the Dutch.
A piece of Germany in Amsterdam! Lady owner comes from Munich and she brought a piece of Berlin feeling with her when she made this place. Amazing beers, great German snacks, and cozy atmosphere. Win!
Original dutch cuisine. Sounds like a joke, eh? Well it almost is, but this place is as good as it can get. Nice ooold interior, bad service, more than decent food. Yeah, 110% oroginal dutch.
I loved this coffee place, reminded me a lot of Berlin. The coffee is great, the snacks are amazing, the people are smiling and the atmosphere is right. Just come here and enjoy one hour of your life!
This is said to be one of the places where you can buy better cheese than in the touristy shops around town, and indeed it is. Great selection, some unusual stuff as well, and the bakery part not bad!
Very nice organic supermarket, and it really is a big one. Has a great selection in most parts, and of course it is not cheap. But you know, none of these places are.
Apple pie at its best: are you hungry? Get one. Are you not? Doesn't matter, just get the damn pie. It is heavenly delicious. And the hot chocolate is also good. But GET THE PIE.
Dream business: make ONE product, and ideally a low-cost one, make it really well, and have the whole city wait in line to get it. This place actually managed that. Best choc cookie EVER.

This place is said to have the greatest fries in Amsterdam. The truth is, fries are almost the same everywhere, but these guys have like more than 20 sauces to match your fries. And they are good!
Dutch Starbucks, but with actual coffee. These all look nice inside and the beverages are great, so is the coffee. Easy, safe choice. Plus, they are open until 19:00 when most close at 18:00.
The real reason you are here is because you are waiting for your table at Cafe De Klos across the street. No? Weird. Anyway, enjoy the nice beer and booze,the place looks rough and has this charm :)
Ok, you most possibly will have to wait a couple of hours (they have a bar across the street where you can drown your time in some wonderful beer) but IT IS WORTH IT. You like meat? COME HERE.
This city is really a beauty. Please don't come here for the drugs and the red lights, it's a pity. Come for the incredible atmosphere this place has, walk every street and forget about home!
Come here on a Saturday morning to stroll around the stalls and enjoy some great snacks. If the weather is fine, this is one of the best places to spend your Saturday morning. Great stuff!
The croissants are really good, even though they aren't "french style". Get them warm and fill them up with anything! Also try any of the arab specialities these guys have, most of them are great!
These guys are good. The food is clean and tasty and well-priced. The spot is not bad and the place looks nice. The music could kill me I wish it weren't on. Try anything here, it's probably good!
A small lounge with limited seating and eating options. Better than coach but not reeeeeeally business-standard.
I loved their pizza, could care less about their attitude. Focus on the wonderful food, eat a nice cold Rothaus beer and enjoy life.
Nice coffee and lots (lots!) of cake choices, makes a perfect option for a shopping break. Also it's big so finding a table can't be difficult.
One of the "love to hate"-places. The oldest restaurant in the city, it has an amazing old german interior. BUT. The food is too touristy and less than mediocre. Russian bosses now. Meeeh.
Lovely sushi-japanese restaurant. The food tastes good and it is not very expensive. The area is more than OK, and the interior looks nice. Good one!
