I'd consider Central Park as the oasis of NYC. It's a little bit of tranquility in a city that never sleeps. Stop in, grab a map and you can easily spend a whole day exploring this huge park. Enjoy!
This place never fails to impress me. Probably my best park in the big apple. Yoga classes, live music, nice surroundings, books and great waffle place, could you ask for more?
Excellent views of Manhattan. Be sure to check the exhibition about the history of the building, very interesting.

Amazing place to watch sunset or just to take a look at the city from the top. Try to purchase the tickets in advance. If the weather was bad, you can take a rain check for free.
Wide open spaces, sweeping high ceilings with beautiful artwork, and incredible architecture. Find and test out the whispering gallery in front of the Oyster Bar, a fascinating architectural oddity.
