Dan Mikkin: The food was exceptional to complement the setting, marine themed and wickedly named. Superb appetisers (try whitefish) and vegan eggplant main course. Add friendly and attentive service, perfect!
Dan Mikkin: Tastefully restored villa from belle epoque (works still in progress). Light and airy interior, design conscious setting. Need to taste the food yet.
Dan Mikkin: A lovely, lovely place! Unassuming yet charming, good company, really tasty mezes. What we loved most was the waiter—a master class in great service!
Dan Mikkin: A place we visited twice – the food was just that good! Well-seasoned mezes, to start with. Then the warm appetisers – the grilled octopus was superb! Add lively vibe of the garden, warm service.
Dan Mikkin: A great little restaurant, terrific vibe and enjoyable service. Menu on a chalkboard. Dishes sound like you'd expect from a French restaurant, but each has a fresh twist to it. New taste experiencs.
Dan Mikkin: Stumbled upon on a wlak to the touristic Lower Barracca Gardens. Ended up with some delicios appetisers – rabbit liver, bruschettas. Snappily delivered by a friendly host.
Dan Mikkin: A buzzing no-frills pizza place. Service was fast and friendly, Romana pizzas authentic and crisp. We were lucky to get a table by just walking in, the place is packed!
Dan Mikkin: We ended up in the place several times during our stay in Valletta. Street food par excellence, plus super friendly service. And they have a very decent red wine to go with these fab lamb dumplings.
Dan Mikkin: It's worth its fad, every bit of it. Packed with locals, messy, bad coffee – and absolutely gorgeous Maltese pastizzi (pies)! Sit in, enjoy the atmosphere, indulge, crawl away.
Dan Mikkin: One of the best experiences on the Maltese culinary scene. A small cosy place, personal and attentive service, a perfect set of Maltese appetisers paired with local white wine. Made my wife happy!
Dan Mikkin: One of the greatest on this little island. Comfy but not too posh (as we like it), well prepered food (especially the garlic octopus), little extra touches and welcoming service. Book a table!

Dan Mikkin: A surprise – unassuming place with street seating, like dozens of other places in Venice. But the food is exceptionally good, the Chef knows what's he/she's doing!
Dan Mikkin: A bustling place in an old house. Georgian specialties with a twist, sometimes unexpected (like my favourite dish Adjpsandali). Every bit is good though!
Dan Mikkin: Love this place. A now commonplace Tbilisi apartment-turned-resto establishment, hipster vibe, cosy atmosphere. The food is exceptional – an inventive take on traditional Georgian + Mid-Eastern.
Dan Mikkin: Really decent hummus and falafel, lovely serving. Good location in a gorgeous Art Nouveau district. The peak was the baklava—delicious and super fresh. The best I’ve had since Istanbul!

Dan Mikkin: Lovely place off the beaten track, frequented by locals. Very charming hostess and good food. Had a smoked salmon and potato salad for breakfast for a change—masterfully balanced taste!
