Food was quite good. Smart plating and use of the tastiest, quarters of chicken, made serving appear huge. Fried green tomato app with NC yellow grits, was amazing. Tuna had a tad too much pepper but
Nice little store run by great couple. I love the sandwiches; always fresh and yummy. They also do catering. Owner has chops, so you can get creative for your next party.
Food and service were very, very good. Gluten free pasta tasted and felt like regular pasta. Stuffed clams and scampi were mouth watering and Italian sausage was divine! Outstanding!

We got a great price...& we used coupon which they honored. Good breakfast, clean room and decent bed.
Food decent. Prices not bad. Garlic/parm fries with aioli tasty. Burgers had great taste but were overlooked. Charcuterie/cheese platter a bit expensive for portion but, the bleu cheese on it was 👍👍
Havent been to the fort in 30+ years. Remember opening day in 1976...the continued work and preservation that's been done is amazing. My 11 year old loved it and wants to go back for the full tour!
Nice selection of stones in buckets for sluicing. People are very knowledgeable and friendly .
They were closing at 6, but were still very accommodating and they let us pick pre-cut stones as part of our sluicing package. Wish we had had more time!
