Burger and fries are worth every penny. Caesar salad had the perfect ratio of dressing, to crispy crumbs, to Romaine lettuce, to fishy flavor. Go here immediately

What a hidden gem! Great decor, chill vibe, decent (not-to-loud) music and great cocktails. I only wish they would stay open until later (they close early, even on the weekends).

Amazing burger with a blend of bone marrow. Super fun to come here during Christmas when it's all decorated.

Chumley's is a tricky to get reservation, and we had booked a week in advance. They were out of everything that we intended to order. Our evening was ruined.

Come for the cocktails, oysters or the burger! Lots of history here with book covers honoring authors who drank here years ago. Classic speakeasy. There isn’t even a sign outside!

Burger and crudo are still fantastic. Rabbit in a hole was sublime.

Their infamous burger is special however every dish sampled was equally impressive. Intimate, spectacular iconic space swathed in memorabilia. Vegetarians & diet fiends, give Chumley's a miss.

The atmosphere is top-notch, but the food is mediocre. Even that buzzed about burger is a just a dressed up lackluster cut that's too slippery to enjoy.

Not much selection for vegetarians, but the offerings were delicious. For everyone else, the burger is amazing.

One of the best hidden spots in West Village. Great food and excellent service.

Sunday evening's not busy. Seated immediately for cocktails. Cozy environment with great chill music.

What a vibe. They don't let enough people in for it to get crowded. A place of literary legends. I found the food overpriced, albeit decent, but far from outstanding (including the overhyped burger).

Older crowd when I was here on a Thursday at 7PM (older meaning 45+) Also, not a large selection of food. Duck is better than the fried chicken, but get the 86 Burger instead.

Behind an unmarked green door lies one of the West Village's best hidden gems. Prohibition-style speakeasy with delicious cocktails and a killer burger. Oysters are also tasty & excellently spiced.

The legendary speakeasy is back with some cozy food options. Recommend: hamachi crudo, foie gras, and crab pot pie! The designer/historian is always around to tell the story of this place! Ask him

Forgot to mention the incredible cocktails. If you're into scotch, this is the spot.

Going back for sure. Hamachi crudo, burger, pretzel, and terrine were out of control good. Skip the chicken and get the trout if you're not in the mood for a burger.
