A secret gem of Golden Gate Park is the Garden of Shakespeare’s Flowers, located near the Japanese Tea Garden. Inspired by the masterworks of the famous playwright, the garden has over 200 flowers.

It's got its faults and some sketchy characters, but it's THE park of SF, period. It's got it all: stadium, conservatory, and some of the finest patches of grass on which to trip your balls off. En savoir plus

A must-visit not only for its Herzog & de Meuron–designed de Young Museum but also for lesser-known gems such as the Victorian-era Conservatory of Flowers and a paddock for rare American bison.

Incredibly well kept park, especially in view of San Francisco's often shabby public cleaning standards. A lovely park to take in some culture or go for a long stroll or bike ride.

Huge Ginormously Beautiful Park. So much to do, to see - botanical gardens, dog parks, museums, gardens, bison, lovely cruising ride to the ocean, or anywhere in the city, esp on a Sunday - no cars.
