There is no more accurate way to describe House of Prime Rib than by its apropos name — it serves one thing and one thing only on its menu, and it does that roast beef very, very well. En savoir plus

Who can resist the juicy, carved-from-the-cart prime rib at HOPR? Accented with a mound of creamed spinach, plenty of au jus, and some Yorkshire pudding on the side, it's a ticket to meat heaven. En savoir plus

This place is so kitchy it’s epic. Come for the dirty martinis in a pint glass, stay for the meat on meat on meat. When you’re done, they’ll ask if you want moar. You’ll have to get rolled home.

There's no denying that House of Prime Rib is one of the best deals in the city. A hunk of well-aged beef is priced from $29.85 to $35.65, and that includes accompaniments and a salad to start. En savoir plus

The prime rib just melts in your mouth. The salad is tossed right in front of you at your table. The staff is excellent. Mashed potatoes is perfect. Great for group outtings. Valet is pretty cheap

This classic is a trip back in time to when plating with tweezers was not yet a thing. The name says it all — it serves one thing and one thing only, and it does that roast beef very, very well. En savoir plus

Prime ribs. Must get regular cuts. Do yourself a favor, Don't be cute and order three thin slices. That's not gonna be worthy of your hard earn money. Their cream spinach is superb!

Indulging in a big slab of prime rib might as well be a rite of passage for every local. And while the decor screams ’50s throwback, it perfectly suits the old-school tableside service. En savoir plus

I'm not big fan of meat, but this place is insanely delicious. Get a reservation in advance (really) or rush to the bar when is opening!cocktails also great. We were lucky and ate in the bar. Book it.

These guys make killer Manhattans that come with a full shaker on the side. Best with Blanton's. When it comes to the meat, get the king cut or get out.

There's virtually nothing to order here besides prime rib, though consult the "secret" menu for a few little known options and it comes with Yorkshire pudding, potatoes, spinach, and creamed corn. En savoir plus

Awesome dinner! Started with some warm bread, and followed by tableside-mixed salad, tableside-cut Prime rib (medium rare), and pudding & mashed potato as sides. All paired with some Sonoma merlot.

Order the prime rib! :p seriously go for the biggest cut- it's only a few bucks more, great to have leftover steak and eggs for breakfast! Not the place to go if you are vegan or vegetarian at all!

Put away your cell phone, order one of several cuts of awesomely tender prime rib, talk about a Bogart flick, and pretend it's 1949. Because in this restaurant, it pretty much still is. En savoir plus

Get the English Cut, more flavorful and there's a chance you might be able to squeeze in seconds. Also, pass on the baked potato and just get creamed spinach + creamed corn. You won't regret it.

A-Mazing! Get the smallest cut, so you can enjoy all the sides. The mashed potatoes and creamed spinach are so yummy, but you can always get a baked potato and sautéed spinach. But why would you?

If you like prime rib, this is the place to go. Since 1949 they've been dishing up giant slabs of beef with excellent sides dishes and service. Danny was a great server, very personable and on it.

Seconds not available with city cut. However, seconds are only a small, thin slice :( Don't fill up on bread! Enjoy the stuffed baked potatoes and try to ask for half and half creamed spinach and corn

Best value for money is to go for the a la carte option. You won't get the salad but the steak is true American size with bone

Left full and happy. Not as pricey as you might think considering what you get. Excellent prime rib and mash. Freshly made salad dressing and the best cream corn I have ever had.

Prime Rib is great. They tend to cook a bit more than one would like, order med-rare if you enjoy medium. Don't forget to sprinkle the seasoning salt on the cut, and try the whipped horseradish, yum!

What can be said about HOPR? Only that it's the best restaurant in all the lands. Dress fancy, order the house manhattan, whatever cut you're into, and a baked potato!

Good meat. The various cuts largely relate to the size of portion rather than the cut of meat. If you are more used to European sized portions you might want to go for the meal without the salad
