At the LACMA Café, I absent-mindedly rearranged the ingredients of my fruit salad into a smiling face. I returned from the restroom to discover my creation had been awarded Best in Show.

Great area. Has the iconic lamps that everyone goes to for the 'gram! Upstairs is a cute cafe called C+M and there's wifi so you're able to work on their patio outside and soak up the sun.

LACMA is one of the best modern art museums in the country. Come here to see the famous light post installation, Urban Light, check out some Rivera & Matisse, and definitely don’t miss Metropolis II.

Great museum, a little bit expensive but worth it. Plenty of options for lunch and early dinner. Also a bar where you can enjoy a drink. Better yet, picnic at La Brea Pits.

Most of the lower level entry areas were very well displayed. The buildings construction and the way the Art was arranged was easy one the eyes and feet. I definitely recommend repeated attendance.
