The warm, house-made butter chips are stellar bookends to your meal at Oiji. Get them as is for a pre-dinner snack, or have them with vanilla ice cream for a salty/sweet, hot/cold dessert. En savoir plus

One of the best openings of 2015. Jang Jo Rim ("buttered rice" with beef and eggs), truffled seafood broth with crispy rice, and honey butter chips. Great value, takes reservations.

Super flavorful Korean fusion cuisine. The mushrooms in the salad are the best I have ever had and the scallops are beautiful and fresh. Save room for chips for dessert.

Wow. Best Korean meal I can recall. Everything was great, but the honey butter chips are life changing. The smoked mackerel is not something I'd usually order but it was fantastic. Fried chicken too

Korean joint Oiji, inspired by chips that started a craze in Seoul—as in, bags sold on eBay—douses paper-thin potato in honey, butter, and a dash of cayenne pepper (that’s them to the right). En savoir plus

Very good Korean tapas! Perfect spot for date night. We think we did it right with scallops, octopus, dumplings and spicy pork wraps. Bf was somehow still hungry and housed the honey chips for dessert

Absolutely unreal, one of the best Korean meals I've had in a long time. Come with a date, share 5-6 dishes. The stars: fried chicken and pork belly & kimchi.

Trendy new Korean spot specializing in small plates. The pork belly and fried chicken are great for entrees and the honey butter chips are a must for dessert

Seafood broth with crispy rice is the type of restorative dish you'd hope for during a winter night, while honey butter chips represent a gourmet delight.

Not your regular kind of Korean restaurant. This offers a more modern take with the traditional flavored. The fried chicken is delicious so is the buckwheat noodle dish.

The ideal meal at Oiji starts with the honey butter chips followed by the house-made soba noodles, braised beef, and mackerel smoked over pine needles. En savoir plus

This is a great place to experience the true taste of Korean food (non Americanized), with the modern ambience of Korea. Also lovely wine selections.

Scallop dish is omg. Ssam for two is fun; French cab franc was a great pairing reco from our friendly waiter. He was great, and this place is also great if you like cocktails.

Fried chicken + 🍻was delish, 🍄 salad was unique, octopus was one of the best in the city, rice was unreal and the butter chips were totally worth it. Good cocktails too. Definitely a date place.

This is my favorite Korean restaurant in the city. Jang jo rim buttered rice, Beef tartare, Ssam and Braised Chicken are my recommendations.

Delicious modern Korean food, plated beautifully, served in a cozy but sleek albeit cramped dining room. Slightly regret not getting the honey butter chips, would definitely go back for butter rice.

Korean tapas style. Everything was great! Loved the food! But the rice wine (makgeolli) came in a warm cup. Would've been better in an chilled glass like other Korean places do.

I actually took the honey chips home since we were too full from dinner and had them out of the fridge the following day. They tasted even more delicious when chilled! It was still crunchy!

Oiji serves modern Korean plates that retain the flavors of the original. Standouts include the Jang Jo Rim, Oxtail with Root Vegetables, and the Ssam Platter for 2.

Love the concept korean tapas. You should definitely try: Dumplings, Truffle seafood and Honey Butter chips (don't leave this place without trying those chips, trust me!)

Fantastic food - loved everything, especially the "Jang-jo-rim", fried chicken, beef tartare and oxtail. Soju tasting was fun. They were out of the butter chips.

The food hits the presentation harder than the taste. It's a fun experience but I wasn't wowed by anything. Except the chips. Definitely get the chips for dessert. Service could also greatly improve.
