The couscous dishes are large enough for 2 people. Tagines feed 1. The eggplant starter is cold, but tasty. And the cheese pastry starter is delicious.
Sit outside facing away from the main street. Have a glass of red, some chocolate mousse and wafers.
An amazing collection of art: Picasso, Cezanne, Rodin, Matisse, Degas. And two rooms with Monet's giant water lily canvasses. Pound for pound (frame for frame?), perhaps the best museum in the world.
€6 for 8 (!) falafel balls in a sandwich that ways about 45 pounds. The roasted eggplant is a nice touch. If you want any alterations to your order, you better be a fast talker.
Sleepy coffee shop. For €12 get yogurt and granola, a pain au chocolate, an orange juice, and a any one of their coffee drinks (the chai tea latte has maple syrup in it - yum).
Patience is the only way to get the perfect shot of The Thinker without some dummy imitating the pose and ruining your shot.
No photography allowed inside most of the museum but when you're up on one of the 5th floor platforms you are allowed take a great shot of this old train station.
Play a fun game called "How many NYC apartments could fit in this palace?" This painting is larger than the first apt my wife and I lived in together.
A knockout view. A really nice space. The waiters are in tuxes but they'll still be very nice to you if you're in sneakers. Come for a glass of wine and the sunset.
Giant crepes. Can't walk and eat. Banana / dark chocolate or Little Breizh (apples, caramel, vanilla ice cream) are great.
A sandwich worthy of the name Monsieur. While peasants overburden their sandwiches with too much cheese, Le Comptoir finely toasts their bread, adds just enough creamy cheese and hits the spot.
You could spend many days here. OR just 90 minutes. Follow my plan and you'll see the highlights and walk past a lot of great stuff. Don't be that guy who looks defeated in the museum - trust me.
So nice. Similar to New York's High Line. Walk across it and be insanely jealous of the folks who live near it and have that view every day of their lives.
Classic French food. Very helpful wait staff. English menu. I got the entrecôte.
Quality Neapolitan pizzas when you need a break from French food. We had the Catari and O'Scia.
A really nice little coffee shop. The lemonade is more like lemon fizzy water (in a good way) and the zucchini bread is pretty tasty.
