I highly recommend the Avocado Burger. It is smoky and juicy, and the avocado is fresh. The bacon is crisp and juicy, and perfectly supplied. Very pleasing.
Definitely the best Shake Shack in NYC. Burgers were even better than usual, and staff was cool.

The staff are always nice to me, here. Food is amazing if you go when it's fresh, e.g., Friday night at six.
The onion rings & special-recipe ranch dressing are delicious. The Village Nut Brown Ale was so good it made me want to move to the town of Tlaquepaque, even though it's not a real town.
Good espresso! Good vibe, too. I think one of the customers is writing a screenplay. Either that or just scrolling Facebook. I can't tell.
The pancakes are quite toothsome, and have the most perfect dollop of butter on top. The bacon goes great with the pancakes, so I suggest getting that on the side.
