It is nice to sit outside with a friend for a beer in the afternoon. It can be a little cliquey here, but mostly nice enough. They have so many beers on tap, there's something for everyone.

Probably the best open bar place to hang out with friends amongst noisy crowded ambience. Smoking is allowed too. Try the burning daylight.

Brian StraussSeptembre 7, 2015Perhaps my favorite bar in life. Slight anarchist vibe, mixed with cheap (for SF) drinks, plus a killer outdoor area makes for a fabulous daytime drinking spot.
This bar has become a faux dive. Most of the people that come in are slumming it for the day. I miss when this was a real dive,now everyone is a techbro incognito.

Dive bar with a surprisingly large (and crowded) back yard. Over a dozen taps, and grilled cheese sandwiches. A trendier crowd shows up on the weekends.
First time I was here, I stuffed my face with a cheeseburger and two grilled cheese sandwiches! Nice young crowd! Great prices! Good variety on tap!
If you find that you cross faded wrong, the ladies bathroom is a perfect place to bring a friend, lay your hues down and have her play with your hair till the room stops spinning.
