    Really interesting museum. Fascinating permanent exhibit on music videos and, of course, a permanent installation on Nirvana.

    Fun, interactive museum and features the history of rock 'n' roll. Shares building space with the Science Fiction Museum - you buy one ticket and you gain admission to both museums!

    You can learn how to play different instruments here on special interactive stands, and then take part in a music show on stage!

    Make sure you bring a lot of cash for the gift shops. It's like being a kid in a candy store...but for music/sci-fi and pop culture fans. :)

    Don't come expecting theme. If you love movie & music memorabilia or more precisely, WA St music memorabilia, you'll love it.

    This place has really changed since it was the Jimi Hendrix Experience. The admission is pretty pricey even with the student discount as well.

    Visit the western side of the museum, outside, at sunset. The light reflecting off the outer walls if the building creates beautiful patterns on the ground and surrounding area.

    On the southeast exterior of the EMP, where the monorail comes out of the building, get the Space Needle in the upper left corner, in between the tracks. Wait and shoot, as the monorail exits the EMP.

    Don't create a "plan" just pick a spot and start looking. Nice selection of pop culture items in gift stores but not a lot with "EMP" on it.

    It isn't a place I'd take young kids- but is great for older kids and adults. Love the interactive area!

    Even if you get your ticket online you still have to get in the same purchase line as everyone else.
