It can be hard to find great coffee, eats and drinks around Brisbane City on a Sunday. Luckily, there are still a few great options, especially if your timing is right or you're willing to explore.
Rental Express Property Management: Very funky place with great coffee. As it is located down a lane way, you only find out about it from friends and recommendations. Has the feeling of a Melbourne lane way cafe.
Vaughn Clair: Great hidden gem in Botanic Gardens. Great for coffee and breakfast as well as offering picnic baskets for those wanting a quiet lazy picnic in the beautiful gardens
Eugene Turner: Sibling to Sourced Grocer in Teneriffe and hidden cocktail bar Maker around the corner, Gauge are doing very interesting, trendy things with food. Now open for dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
QAGOMA Brisbane: Recently awarded a chef's hat in the 2014/15 Brisbane Times Good Food Guide Awards, the GOMA Restaurant offers elegant and contemporary dining in the heart of GOMA.
Eugene Turner: A lovely spot to sit and relax by the river. Free Sunday Sessions with live music from 2pm are well worth packing a picnic for, and it's licensed for BYO, so feel free to bring the bubbles.
Karen Sexton: This is a seriously good place, go here if you are addicted to the best in espresso. Luke is passionate and skilled, so the coffees never fail to be exceptional. Consistant, funky it's just sublime.
