    Try the Queso Fundido con Chorizo - Cotija and Panela cheeses with Poblano peppers. Baked and served with Tortillas. Quite the deal for Happy Hour at $5

    According to LocalEats, Ortega's is the top Mexican joint in San Diego and is one of the top 100 restaurants in the city. I'm not sure it's THAT good, but it wasn't bad.

    They used to have a GREAT happy hour menu, then they increased the prices and limited the options, so we stopped going.

    The almond margarita is ridiculously amazing. The house margarita is also fantastic, and only $2 on Tuesday (with entree purchase).

    It's really great being a vegetarian and getting the cheese appetizer only to be told by the waiter there is meat in it AFTER eating it! I love food poisoning!

    I can't recommend this for anything beyond the chips, salsa, and drinks. Pomegranite margarita in particular. Food was not good.
