Great place, but the prices have more than doubled over the last 10 years. The hot dogs are way better than the burgers, and anyone who tells you otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about.

Bloody Mary is the bomb. Outside patio is perfect for a relax and/or work sesh. BYO wifi, though.

The burger is great - unique bun and toppings - but always check the daily specials. Weekend corn beef hash special is yum.

Greasy cheeseburger, some fries out on the bay on a sunny day. Red's is a real throwback, without being "good" it's perfect.

finally got to Red's. Great post/pregame giants spot. Bucket of Tecate for $18 is awesome. Burgers just OK. Lots of pickles, randomness of the Sourdough a plus - but otherwise pretty bland I must say.

Just go all out and get the dbl cheeseburger w/ dries and Lagunitas. Sourdough bread, mild cheddar, no lettuce, and no tomato, it's delicious.

sure, you COULD spend $200 on lunch overlooking the Bay, you won't beat a burger at Red's Java House. It has shockingly remained ungentrified (but I'd stay away around 5pm or before/after a ball game)
