Lots and lots of locals go there. Well situated to urgent care and the Parador. Opens at 9:30am.
If your period arrives unexpectedly, the front desk has pads and tampons you can ask for.
Town is served by a direct bus from Madrid. Has a fantastic Parador. Well worth visiting.
Well tended area to see if you show up before monastery opens. Doesn’t contain Germans who died during the Spanish Civil War (And there were some).
Very impressive. Has limited opening hours. Costs to go inside. Can see the outside from the Parador even if not staying there.
Walk straight down the street from Nuevos Ministerios to the Cuatro Camino metro stop. Better than making a connection to the red line sometimes.
Fast. Easy to use. Right by the metro exit. Almost better than printing a boarding pass at home.
worth checking out their Christmas market in November. Great food, music and fun.
Great menu del día on Thursday and Saturday for €16 with cocido completo madrileño including glass of wine and dessert.
Super pretty town but now easily accessible via public transport. Need to take a direct bus from a place like Madrid, get off near monastery and then take a €10 taxi ride here.
