It's one long hallway with no shortcuts, so be sure to leave enough time to get from one end to the other if you're making a connection.

TSA is particularly congested at SJC, give yourself extra time.

Love the seats with the built-in power outlets. Why doesn't every airport have these? Look for the seats with the white armrest inserts.

In terminal B skip the line at Peer's and walk down to Illy for a really good cup of coffee or espresso

You can walk to terminal B after security so grab some Pizza My Heart if you have time...many more choices in terminal B

If you're flying out of gates 1-16, give yourself extra time. Bit of a walk.

Nice job with the extensive renovation - sitting here in a comfy chair by baggage claim with free wifi. Short term parking still a little dicey but suppose some bugs come with this type of redo.

Terminals A and B are connected by a bridge. There is a lounge near that bridge.

No "uncaged animals," so if you brought your dog to greet someone you're picking up, you couldn't bring them in the airport. Had I known this, wouldn't have brought my dog!

There's a free shuttle bus (#10) called the Airport Flyer that goes to the Santa Clara CalTrain.

SJC wireless now doesn't require registration. Just connect and surf. Nice! Wish more airlines offered this.

Overrated airport if you ask me. No TSA PreCheck, few shops, no lounge, long walks. Food options are okay though, and this is probably easier for the casual, infrequent flier.

Free cell phone parking area on airport parkway is so convenient! Very close to both terminals and not many cars!

Opt out of the backscatter and make them do the secondary. Demand they put on clean gloves. Then file a formal complaint about the invasive search.

Pizza My Heart is a local favorite in SJ and is quick and a good way to get a slice on the go (gate 19). Le Boulanger is also a place to go for anything on fresh French influenced bread (gate 20).

The newer section in Terminal A has charging stations built right into the arm rests of the chairs. Silicon valley...yeah baby!

Most cabs either do not take credit card payments or do so only after a lot of grumbling. Come prepared with cash!
