- Michelle HermarkJanvier 29, 2012It's worth it to spring for the seat cushion rental if you're not a groundling. Just trust me on this.
- Unforgettable experience! The Tempest is amazing.
- Watch a play in true Shakespere costume and setting
- Louis VuittonMai 20, 2010A reconstruction of the famous Elizabethan open-air theatre where Shakespeare worked, true to the spirit of the original, celebrating and educating about Shakespeare’s work.
- Hostelling InternationalAoût 8, 2011Go see a show! The Shakespeare Globe sells tickets and you can stand right up to the stage for 5 pounds. - Olena, (Canada)
- Credo ReferenceAoût 22, 2011Henry VIII, by William Shakespeare: OK, so the play wasn't set here...but the play was being performed when Shakespeare's famous stomping ground caught on fire.
- Elvira PoitersAvril 8, 2019Not worth the money. “Tour” just takes you to the outside courtyard and there you stay for 45min. Dont get to see anything else: no gallery, no costumes. They closed all of that to the public.
- Stephine Sison-CallantaFévrier 27, 2011i pray that the younger generation of today can look back and ask themselves if they know who Shakespeare is. A lot would claim they do, but truth is, they don't!
- Geoff WakelingAvril 16, 2010Go & watch a play in the Globe. Awesome atmosphere, and remarkably cheap if standing in the yard En savoir plus
- Make sure you stand in the Yard for £5. Gallery seating is very fun, but terrible lack of legroom if you're over 6 feet tall. Macbeth is an awesome production.
- Margaret PerkinsJuillet 23, 2010I saw Othello, but did not stand where the groundlings did - had gallery seating.. fantastic performance
