Explore this museum that has 3 floors of portraits, video and amazing art exhibits! We recommend the Romare Bearden tribute and African comics exhibit. It's also free on Sundays :-)
The hefty $20 admission fee is justified by the impressive collection, but consider going on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., when admission is free (you’ll have to fight the crowds).
While visiting the memorial is very touching, the museum itself has very few moments really worthing the $24 ticket or the line for tuesday free admission.
