Atlantic Avenue runs all the way from LIRR Jamaica Yard (by the Van Wyck Expressway) to Brooklyn Bridge Pier 6 (by Bridge Park Drive)
The park is named after Ralph Johnson Bunche, who was an American political scientist, academic, and diplomat who received the 1950 Nobel Peace Prize.

The John Street section of Brooklyn Bridge Park is the start or end (depending on the direction you’re headed) of the park. There are several pedestrian bridges here.
You’ll find pebble beach at this section of Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Enjoy the large lawn here. It’s supposed to be protected from the wind and sun by groves of shrubs and trees. Get lost in the labyrinth.
