Frenchmen Street is the go-to for live jazz. Only a few blocks long so it's pretty easy to stroll and find what's good for the night. This spot was hot the night we went.
If you're staying near here it's worth a visit. Everything I had here was delicious and the staff was pretty exceptional.
Bourbon Street is like the Times Square of New Orleans, but some spots are pretty neat, like this one. There's a dueling piano bar and an outdoor patio.
I had a pretty good fried chicken dish here... live music while I was there too.
Outdoor art market, like any you'd see in Brooklyn but with a local flavor obviously. Only open certain days.
Cool spot, only stayed at the bar so no comment on the food. Friendly bar staff. Apparently the upper floors are haunted?
Cool outdoor spot you'll inevitably come across. Always something going on around here.
Great eggs Benedict type dish, on top of pulled pork and cornbread. Slight trip; the streetcars stop halfway there and you have to transfer to a bus.
The authentic crawfish experience (cajun seasoning, spicy!), but the trek there is difficult with the streetcar under construction.
