A cute underground cafe on Newbury. The espresso is always finely crafted, and all of it is organic. The staff is generally knowledgeable about the coffee varieties. The pastries are mediocre.

Best avocado mash I’ve had on the High Line’s nadir. Takes a few bites but then your tongue is tingling with secret spices and your lips are cooled by lime-treated avocado paste.
Coffee is beyond fantastic. The space is gorgeous, with a ton of natural light and outdoor hang out area. Try the Make Out (their version of a Cortado/Gibraltar.)
Paid WIFI but the happy service and delicious Intelligentsia coffee and menu make up for that. Grab a seat in the front for good people watching and one in the way back for quiet writing.
Love their latte!! Perfectly steamed and not scolding hot like in some other places. Unfortunately no free wifi. My suggestion: get half hour with a purchase.
My favorite cafe in San Francisco's Sunset district! Free wifi, friendly servers, good food, amazing coffee, and beautiful latte art. Loved the lavender latte and Birthday Cake latte, and the toasts.
