Quiet and somewhat hidden coffee shop, good place for studying. I like the ‘mini library’ they have outside and the artsy decoration. Seating is pretty uncomfortable though :) coffee is good!☕️
The cajeta latte is the best latte I've had. And their cold brew is top notch. it's a great place to study. Lots of tables and chairs. Usually more people with laptops than just socializing.
Despite its somewhat hidden location, this is one the more happening coffee shops inside the loop. Check out the table with local author's books near the counter.
I definitely agree about the shot of attitude behind the register. To be fair, I don't go there a lot, but the times I've been there, the attitude was always present.

Agreed great 4 people watching, music is just at the right level not to quiet not too loud, soothing, yet not going to put you to bed. Wifi connection is great and there are about 20 ppl on comp LIKE
It might be hard to find an outlet and the chairs closest to outlets are sometimes the least comfortable. Pretty sure they bought these from an old high school. It's all thrift shop furniture....
chill place, hipster vibe, music talk. i wouldn't say that either the food or the coffee stands out, and the service is languid at best. that said, if convenience is important ..
Good selection of food and drink. The iced tea is good, cheap, and you get unlimited refills. The wifi is also pretty good. Don't let the secret out! ;)
This place needs a lot of work. Things to start with: replace the little school children wobbly chairs along the window. Put up decent art along your walls. Say goodbye to the Lohans...
This place is a giant cash register. Want a good place to study? All of Rice is already here. No room for you, unless you arrive at 7am. Then you can relax on their broken, wobbly furniture.
Something must be done about the new lighting arrangement, blaring down like heat lamps almost as if to deliberately persuade us to leave or become homegrown.
Black Hole in Montrose is affectionately dubbed a hipster hangout, but the crowd is actually surprisingly diverse. At any given moment you’ll find... En savoir plus
If you're visiting from Europe, never ever dare to try their croissants. Chocolate croissant has barely chocolate in it and mine was at least 2 days old! Their latte is OK. Cosy atmosphere. Overpriced
Get there early if you want a table inside. Hipsters dont wake up til the afternoon. ;p Also that hot green tropical green tea is uber potent. dilution might be needed
