Robert roll, izakaya roll, spicy tuna crispy rice, creamy popcorn shrimp, albacore crispy onion, miso soup, and of course the best: hand baked crab roll (they put more rice and less crab if cut)

I know it looks like nothing but this Albacore & truffle roll is da bomb. You MUST have it. Everything we had was fresh and melted away in the mouth. Katsu-ya did a good job.

all the katsuya favorites -- crispy rice spicy tuna, rock shrimp tempura, albacore with crispy onion, baked crab roll -- are perfect. super fresh & delicious ... without the trip to the valley. :)

This is hands down the best sushi I have ever had! I will for sure be back! Try the crispy rice w/ spicy tuna, spicy edamame, baked crab hand rolls, and the tuna and crab tempura! AMAZING!

Try the crab hand roll with rice paper! It's so yummy, also get whitefish wrapped in crab it's amaze.....not on the menu but they'll make it for you. And I LOVE the uni shooters

Think we had the salmon sashimi, spicy yellowtail with jalapeño and seared albacore. Really delicious, would recommend highly!

Do the crispy rice with spicy tuna, the albacore with fried onions, and the baked crab rolls. Then go across the street and have banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery for dessert!

I only ordered raw fish.Great quality fish and well cooked rice.Only thing they don't put wasabi and ginger in the dishes.I recommend this sushi place.Thumbs up for the waitresses,they're so friendly!

You can mix the the seared albacore with crispy onion with the sauce from the garlic albacore with shaved black truffle. So save the plate of sauce when you are done with it.

My favorite sushi in LA. Spicy tuna crispy rice, rock shrimp tempura, albacore crispy onions, baked crab hand roll and yellowtail sashimi w/ jalapeno. You can't go wrong!

Honey roll is amazing! Heaven in your mouth! We also like the shishito peppers to start. Nice alternative to edamame. If you like live sweet shrimp (ama ebi), it is really good here!!!

Dinner with locals! Relaxing and easy. I loved California rolls and Yakisoba w/shrimps. They don't have Philadelphia rolls :(

Rock Shrimp Tempura is a must. Try the Salmon topped with caviar, which isn't on the menu. Good ones are Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, and the Yellowtail Sashimi w/ Jalapeno.

The crispy spinach on the garlic toro dish is great! And the far from ordinary tasting spicy tuna on crispy rice is amazing. So is the nasu miso.

If you just order california rolls here, you are missing out. Get the garlic albacore w/black truffle. The garlic toro with crispy spinach is amazing.

Even though the food is good, the noise is UNBEARABLE!! We couldn't hear the waitress or each other during lunch. Might be OK if you go by yourself with your earbuds...

Love Love Love! Start with the steaming hot edamame and the Spicy Tuna/Crispy Rice. Move on to the Rock Shrimp Tempura and BAM!!!
